Job Description
Our client who is in the Marble and Granite countertop business is currently searching for an inside salesperson who will play an instrumental role in developing new customer relationships to acquire new business as well as act as the connection between our company’s current client base to ensure that all customer needs are satisfied.

Position: Inside Salesperson

Duties:

  • Primary duties include: obtain new customers; develop industry relationships; and maintain and cultivate current client relationships
  • Successfully cold call new potential clients and have over the phone sales skills.
  • Gather and analyze customer needs and interests; build strong business relationships and provide solutions to customers’ challenges/needs
  • Provide current and prospective customers with clear and easy to understand information pertaining to all of our company’s products (and services, if applicable)
  • Work with Manager to identify and implement strategies to acquire new clients
  • Deliver and follow-up on bid packages/sales calls to secure new customer accounts and/or to ensure that perspective and current clients have enough information to make informed decisions
  • Successfully communicating company’s commitment to quality and customer service
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with President and other necessary staff
  • Answering telephone calls and emails
  • Maintain and update Manager with weekly status reports of accounts including customer concerns, needs and prospective accounts
  • Responding to all prospective and current customer needs/requests via mail, emails and fax
  • Providing customer service to current and prospective clients in timely and responsive communications (written and verbal)
Preferred:
  • Spanish/English Bilingual Skills (oral and written)
  • Local knowledge and contacts preferred
  • Knowledge/Experience in the home construction/remodel industry
  • Experience/Knowledge in design skill
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to manage time
  • Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task
  • Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to produce quantifiable results (i.e. increase sales, clients, etc. . .)
  • Assertive and proactive in the form of persistence and tenacity to achieve sales goals and meet Company and customer needs meet
  • Available schedule to work 6 day weeks for most weeks
  • Must be available to work on Saturdays
