Plans sequence of operations for production of company products. Creates efficient manufacturing process planning from complex blueprints and sketches.

Drives productivity improvement throughout the facility.
Designs and plans layout for machining, processing, assembly, and material handling operations to provide for efficiency and maximum productivity in the production of company products.
Performs cost analysis for new engineering designs to support pricing decisions for new products.
Reviews engineering designs and drawings and recommends changes to provide for improved producibility as part of our concurrent engineering process.
Develops production drawings and planning documents to establish sequence of operations in the production of company products.
Investigates and recommends resolution of production problems and works with operations personnel in implementing changes.
Develops modifications to machine tools and existing processes to adapt to new requirements.
Supports development of annual capital plan and leads selection of new capital equipment.
B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial or manufacturing technology; and
Seven to nine year’s of experience working in a manufacturing organization with assembly and machining operations; and
Must have experience in prototype manufacturing and CNC machining centers, milling (Horizontal Mills preferred) and lathe machines; and
Experience in implementing manufacturing methods and tools; and
Experience with ISO 9000 quality standards, lean manufacturing techniques, and computer aided design. SolidWorks a plus; and
Preferred experience in high mix/low volume aerospace environment; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to work across organizational functions and generate results without direct reporting relationships.
Must be highly motivated and be a committed team player.
Ability to lead/direct the activities of less senior manufacturing engineers.
Excellent PC skills including Excel and other MS Office applications.
