He brings almost four decades of team building and professional selection and recruiting experience focused on leadership, organizations, and individuals’ contributions to organizational and personal success. Armed with experience consulting with well over a thousand CEOs, HR Leaders, and hiring managers, and thousands of interviews and placements, Scott shares insights into the factors that create mutual value for people and organizations that form a set of talent acquisition and performance management principles that apply to careers, organizational leadership, and mutual success.
Scott is the CEO of Amtec Human Capital, a 65+-year-old professional recruiting organization with nationwide operations and offices in Southern California, Arizona, the Philippines Islands, and satellite offices in Idaho and Texas. Amtec specializes in placing professionals in a variety of disciplines, industries, and companies ranging from small entrepreneurial start-ups to the Fortune 100 and employs over 900 people on an annual basis.
Scott is married to Marci, his girlfriend of 40+ years. Together, Scott and Marci have two adult children, a daughter-in-law, and two grandkids. Scott received his undergraduate degree from the University of Redlands and his Executive MBA from the Drucker School of Business from Claremont Graduate University. Scott is a registered native Hawaiian and enjoys speaking, consulting, teaching, and writing in the areas of selection, hiring, retention, performance management, succession and organizational planning, and business management. In his spare time, Scott enjoys photography, SCUBA diving, swimming, mountain bike riding, drone photography, woodworking, and other activities that keep him young-minded.
