Jay Ramos

Jay began his staffing career in 2000 as an intern at Amtec. With his sense of humor and love of people, Jay became a full-time recruiter. Over the years, Jay’s drive to help people and his ability to build long-term partnerships with clients helped him get promoted to Sr. Recruiter, Business Development Manager, Division Manager, Director, and Vice President. In 2008, Jay, a native Filipino, was a key partner in building an offshore recruiting firm in the Philippines that provides cost-effective, high-quality, flexible sourcing and recruiting services to U.S. staffing companies. In 2012, he became a partner at Amtec and currently serves as its President. Jay finds great fulfillment in helping companies grow and watching the people he has mentored grow into amazing leaders. Jay has been married to Christine for 18+ years, and they have a daughter in her twenties. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, boating, swimming, SCUBA diving, and traveling the world.
