If you’ve read the news recently, companies are increasingly choosing to use temporary workers as part of their workforce strategy. Temporary hires have reached a level equivalent to 2006 numbers, which is a positive sign for our economy.
Perhaps you want to hire someone but are hesitant to hire a full-time employee. You may be looking for a temporary employee and considering using a staffing agency to help find the workers you need. If so, how do you choose a staffing partner who is a good fit for your organization? Here’s some advice from Richard Wahlquist, president and CEO of the American Staffing Association:
“Being flexible in inventory and work force is going to be more important than ever during the next several years. Look for a staffing firm that can be a partner in helping drive efficiency and productivity when sourcing new talent. Spend some time not just talking about filling positions, but about work force strategies,” Wahlquist said.
