Scott Kuethen was honored to receive the coveted Essey Award at the California Staffing Professionals (CSP) conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 13, 2014. The annual award is given to the staffing professional who has furthered the staffing industry and/or CSP the most. A donation of $1,000 will be given to the charity of the recipient’s choice.
Scott has contributed to CSP and the staffing world for 30 years. He started working at Amtec in 1984 as a recruiter and discovered his passion, helping people find meaningful work and helping companies build high-performing teams. He has worked tirelessly to create and refine Amtec’s best-in-class hiring process which guides every hire his recruiting team makes. Today, as Amtec’s CEO, Scott’s focus is consulting with clients to identify internal challenges, assess their company culture, and strategize to source, select, and hire top candidates who are a great match. When not making placements or leading his own company, Scott also enjoys giving presentations on hiring best practices to CEOs and leaders of other organizations.
