Celebrate National Staffing Employee Week!

Have you used a temporary, contract employee? Perhaps you are benefitting from one or more right now.  You would not be alone–more than 3 million people are employed by staffing companies every week, with 35% of those employed in higher-skilled occupations. More than 75% of those are full-time workers, a similar ratio to the regular workforce. These temporary workers positively contribute to companies, communities, and our economy every day. Their willingness to be flexible and share their talent and expertise benefits countless employers who depend on them to accomplish goals, finish projects, and meet deadlines.

During September 28 through October 4, it’s time to celebrate National Staffing Employee Week and these hardworking employees who are making such a difference in all of our lives. If you currently have a temporary worker, would you take a moment during that week to express your appreciation for their contribution to your organization? Perhaps you might even treat them to a cup of their favorite beverage.
